canapay end-user license agreement

This agreement covers the use of canapay, an internal payment tool of Canopy Access Fund ("Canopy").

1. Who may use canapay

canapay is licensed only to Canopy and to the staff Canopy authorizes, for paying Canopy's own bills. It may not be used for any other organization, and it may not be copied, sold or redistributed.

2. Your responsibilities

• Review every payment batch before you confirm it. canapay shows each payee and amount and asks you to confirm the total before anything is sent.
• Keep your Mac, your QuickBooks sign-in and your confirmation codes to yourself.
• Make sure each vendor's payment token in QuickBooks is the current token from PaymentWorks.

3. QuickBooks and PaymentWorks

canapay connects to QuickBooks (Intuit) and PaymentWorks. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms. canapay is not made or endorsed by Intuit or PaymentWorks.

4. No warranty

canapay is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. It is built to refuse a payment when anything is uncertain, but Canopy remains responsible for the payments it approves.

5. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, the developer of canapay is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from its use.

6. Privacy

7. Changes and ending use

This agreement may be updated; the date above shows the latest version. Canopy can stop using canapay at any time by disconnecting it from QuickBooks.
